EcoForesters Workshop: December 6 at 10:00 AM

Join EcoForesters on Saturday, December 6 at 10:00 AM for a hands-on workshop on how to identify and remove non-native invasive plants in Biltmore Forest. We’ll meet at Councilman Drew Stephens’ property at 4 Hilltop Rd (overflow parking at 2 Hilltop Rd).

This is an important opportunity for residents to learn how to protect our trees, gardens, and natural areas from aggressive plants that threaten the long-term health of our ecosystem. We hope to see you there!  To learn more click on this link to EcoForesters NNIS resource page.

Please wear pants, long sleeves and closed toed shoes if you would like to work alongside EcoForesters staff and use tools / herbicide applicator dobber bottles to treat invasive plants. Gloves and eye protection will be provided as well as a pre-mixed dobber bottle to take home for folks who are interested

RSVP to Jess Hedrick via e-mail or call 828-274-0824 so that EcoForesters can be prepared for your participation
