Biltmore Forest Tick Testing Presentation

On Monday, May 4, researchers from the University of North Carolina, University of South Carolina, and NC State University will present their distressing findings on tick-borne disease in Biltmore Forest. Over 300 ticks were collected in the twelve months following Hurricane Helene. A Centers for Disease Control (CDC) lab in Colorado conducted the testing and screening, and the research team will explain these results, discuss case mapping, and preview the next steps for Biltmore Forest. The presentation will begin at 6pm at the Town Hall and will be available for viewing via Zoom with the link below.
