DOG LICENSING

The Town requires that all dogs be vaccinated for rabies and registered with the Town.

To register your dog:

  • Complete the Dog License Application (PDF, 116.82 KB) for each dog to be registered;
  • Provide proof of vaccination for each dog to be registered;
  • Pay the appropriate licensing fee ($5 if spayed or neutered; $10 if fertile) for each dog to be registered.
  • Bring all items in to Town Hall and a Town tag will be issued. (The tag can not be mailed)

The licensing fee is due upon initial registration and is automatically renewed on your water bill in December.

If you no longer have the licensed dog, please contact Town Hall as soon as possible to have the dog removed from the listing.

For more information please refer to the Town Code of Ordinances, Chapter 4 Animals & Fowl.
