Water Outage Update - 12/28/22 - 8:15 PM

This is a message from the Town of Biltmore Forest. The City of Asheville announced late this afternoon that the southern water treatment facility is back online as of noon today and is producing water for distribution. Restoration of service will take time and we anticipate returning to full service soon. The system will have to normalize pressure as water begins flowing through the water line infrastructure. Residents may still experience no water or low pressure as this process continues. As water service returns, we ask that you continue to conserve water while the system normalizes.

Please remember that a boil water advisory is still in effect. While under a Boil Water Advisory, it is recommended to vigorously boil all water used for human consumption for one minute (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water.

Bottled water is still available at the Biltmore Forest Police Department for those who need it. For those who are homebound and unable to come to the Police Department, please call (828) 274-0824 to make arrangements for a home delivery.

We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and understanding while services are restored.
