Biltmore Forest 10k - Saturday, July 23 - 7:30AM
The Town of Biltmore Forest is happy to host the Kiwanis Club of Asheville's Biltmore Forest 10k this Saturday, July 23 beginning at 7:30am. Race and registration information may be found by clicking this link.
The event will begin at the rear parking lot of the Doubletree Hotel near the intersection of Hendersonville Road and Vanderbilt Road. Participants will run south into Biltmore Forest, making a right onto Cedarcliff Road and continuing as it turns into Busbee Road. Runners will then make a right onto Forest Road, before turning a slight left downhill on East Forest Road. From there, runners will take Park Road and make a left onto Vanderbilt Road. After turning left onto Lone Pine Road, the runners will make a right onto Forest Road and continue through the Busbee Road intersection until they arrive at the bottom of the hill and make a right on Cedarcliff Road. From there, they will make one final left onto Vanderbilt Road and head back to the Doubletree hotel. A full route for the event is linked below.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution along these roads between 7:30AM and 9:00AM. The Biltmore Forest Police Department will be present along the route and there will be race marshals at busier intersections. We hope all who participate have a great morning run!
