Highlights From Board of Commissioners Meeting on Tuesday, February 13th

The Board of Commissioners held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 13th.

Highlights of the meeting include:

**Mr. Paul Zimmerman and Mrs. Diane Zimmerman were recognized for their service to the Town. Mr. Zimmerman served on the Planning Commission for three years and Mrs. Diane Zimmerman volunteered countless hours   with a vast amount of historical research for the Town and conducted historical lectures to Town residents. They will be greatly missed and we are so thankful for their service to the Town.

** The Town tick reduction program discussion was very beneficial and we thank residents for turning in surveys. We have gathered a great deal of input from residents and appreciate all who attended the meeting this week to provide further feedback regarding this program. Chemical application was discussed as well as other potential actions to reduce the tick population.  We continue to work on this and more information will be discussed at next month's meeting.

**The intersection of Ridgefield Place and Hendersonville Road was discussed and we thank those that attended this meeting who provided their valuable feedback. Potential solutions are closing the intersection completely or allowing only right turns in and out at this intersection.
