Happenings in the Forest - 2/16/24

Happy Friday! Here is what's been going on in The Forest:

Town Hall Updates:

  • Town Hall can finally accept in-house credit/debit card payments!
    • We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express
  • Upcoming Club Events
    • The Board of Adjustment Meeting is scheduled for Monday, 2/19/24 at 4:00pm in Town Hall

Police Department Updates:

  • Several scam calls have been brought to the attention of the Police Depart
    • Please be aware that the Police Depart does not take any kind of payments or ask for your personal information 
    • The Police Department will not call you about missing jury duty and how you must pay a fine

Public Works Updates:

  • Collect garbage and recycling
  • Utility locates
  • Tree assessments
  • Daily water chlorine tests
  • Service dog waste stations
  • Brookside Park trail building project continues
  • Remove tree from Vanderbilt Road
  • Began brush collection on the north side of town
  • Clean street signs
  • Brush removal at Forest Rd and East Forest Rd
  • Brush Removal along Brookside Road
  • Repair sink hole at Eastwood
  • Administer bid meeting for stormwater improvements project
